A Major Setback

On March 30th, I had a major setback. Here’s the whole story.

As you probably know or suspected, I don’t write on this blog or shoot professionally, yet. I’m an IT project manager and that day, March 30th 2017, I was fired from my job. It didn’t have to do with my performance, it’s just the project I was working on was coming to an end. On my way home I thought I would have more time to shoot and write but, when I arrived home, I found out my apartment had been broken into and some thieves stole a big portion of my gear…

After reporting the robbery to the authorities and feeling miserable for a few days, I decided to focus on moving on and figuring out a way to keep shooting and sharing content.

I’ll keep you posted on the progress I make on this journey and share with you anything I learn along the way. In the mean time, subscribe to my newsletter, follow me on social media and share this post. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one learning from an experience like this.

Remember: keep learning, keep shooting.
