I’m Back! But, what was I up to? Keep reading to learn more.
If you follow this blog or my YouTube channel, you noticed that I didn’t post for a few weeks. The explanation is simple.
Gallbladder Surgery
A couple of months ago I started feeling a bit ill. After a doctor’s appointment and a few tests, I had gallbladder surgery on 3/June/2019. Everything went well and without complications, the physical recovery was pretty quick and I’m feeling better every day :-)
I wasn’t able to work for a while, but I’m now ready to create more content and share more of my experiences while working as a photographer.
What Happened in the Meantime?
While I was in the recovery period, something happened that made me really happy: my YouTube channel reached 500 subscribers! That’s just awesome! It may not sound like a lot, but I started with 1 subscriber but, more important, it means some people like my content, they find it useful and that gives me motivation to keep creating.
What’s Next?
I’d like to take the time to share some of the future plans and the kind of content I’ll share.
Let’s start with Flash Photography, which I’ve noticed many people are interested in. I’m the first to admit I’m still learning, but sharing what I know helps people who are starting.
Portrait Photography is my main commercial offering, and many of the videos/blog posts where I describe this area have a good response, so I’ll keep sharing more of this topic.
One other topic that I have only shared a few times is Photography as a Business ut, with me working as a commercial photographer, I think makes sense to share, so other people may discover not only a passion but make a living out of it.
Finally, even though I share some information about my shoots with clients, I think it will be even more useful to explain how an image comes to be in an In Depth Process.
Of course, these are not the only topics that I’ll cover and, if you have a suggestion, please write it in the comments section. I’m really interested in your feedback.
As you can see, many things happened in the last few weeks, but many more will happen now. Come join me in this journey :-)
